anyone know of any (reasonably priced) houses coming up for rent this year? or the names of some reputable real estate folks. i currently live in an appartment w/ 3 roommates and we are tired of this place. we would like something near wolfline (the ncsu bus system) so we dont have to drive and pay to park on campus every day.

TIA

check out Bagwell Ave. OFTEN! by far the most fun and easiest place I ever lived. 5 min walk to class and right off Hillsborough. House *was* shitty but it was renovated after we moved out. Rental houses move on the street though so you have to be on top of it.

one of my good friends lived on bagwell a few years ago and i reaped the benefits of that...great times. hard to get those houses though, they are usually passed down. there are exceptions. I would look at the houses off trailwood and lineberry...there are tons to choose from and come up for rent quite often. wolfline runs up and down trailwood quite often. If you want to walk to class (NCSU), there are a good number of houses that are walking distance that come up for rent in may-july for august leases. I've lived all over the NC state area in houses and apartments for 7-8 years now at all the hot spots...you just have to be looking all the time. most of the best places get picked up QUICK.

ours definitely was. both of them :flipoff2:

check craigslist though, my current house was found there and i more or less like/love it. there are a few good ones there, especially now.
actually, come to think about it, cruise the streets off Dixie Trail, there are a good few for rent around there.

I used to live in a house at the corner of phyllis dr and marilyn dr. Its right off of Ridge road where it meets Wade ave. It was a great location, and we had a blast there. The house was a 4 bedroom. That house used to get passed down, but somehow we got it a 3 years ago, and lived there for two of them. I had no problems with the place. It has a big back porch which was definitely a plus, and the rent wasn't bad either.

cough....cough Ive spent many nights on/around Bagwell. GOOD TIMES !

we've been checking c-list with a passion. preferably we would like a house in the gorman-brent rd area. we have stupid reasons tho, we all have primmmeeeeeee deer hunting land round about somewhere maybe out not too far from there. (i know, we are here for an education. we have the rest of our lives to hunt. yada yada yada. ive heard it 10000 times from my mom and dad) where we are now is great for getting out to the stand in a hurry. but we could def. adjust. thanks for the heads up fellas, if anyone else has anything post on up!

does anyone know anything about Jansen Properties? they are the main ones ive been seeing on c-list here lately for houses in this area. preferably, we would like to rent privately, we feel a person would be much easier to deal with than a company.

thanks fellas.

Check out the $8,000 1st time homebuyers thread.. your folks might be interested in buying a condo down there while you finish up school / then resell it in a few years (I think that you would need to live in it several years, 3 I think?)

There is a lady at my office that has one she is wanting to sell/ her son is about to graduate NCSU...

If you are serious / let me know and I will get more info on it / from her. (I think she wants to sell if possible instead of renting but..)
