Okay guys I'm sure this has been beaten to death but I need to ask a question
I have a 2016 Ram Power Wagon and I want to try to squeeze the largest tire underneath without rubbing it currently has 33's from the factory I'd like to get at least 35's I think tires off road go up in 2 inch increments correct? I'm not a hundred percent sure is there such a thing as a 36 inch tire? I don't believe so but I'll ask anyway some questions on Google came up with a 315/70/17 with this size be equal to 35's ?

That's a loaded question, what will fit right now bone stock 35s, a little lift 37s a little lift and sawzall 40s. I ran pretty much everywhere at Uwharrie with my 2015 ram 2500 crew cab no lockers on 35s. This thread should probably be moved to axles/ suspension/ tires since this is where you sale tires.

Some manufacturers make 33, 34, 35, 36,37,38,38.5,39,39.5,40 but that size will depend on the manufacturer

Now just as an FYI, in case you don't know.
315/70/17 means

315mm wide
.70 sidewall height
17" rim

So that would convert to,
315 x .39 = 12.4" wide
Sidewall height is .7 x 12.4 or 8.7 inches
There are 2 sidewalls in a vertical height zone 8.7 x 2 or 17.4 inches.
Plus the 17 inch rim so the total height would be (theoretically) 34.4 inches

That said nominal measurements will hardly ever align with stated size

Your truck will fit a 35 stock and a 37 if I'm not mistaken but will prob rub. The Carli 3 inch lift will allow 37s but still will rub on the control arms at full lock. AEV sells the stuff to make 40s fit.
