Ramsey winch question

Picked up a Ramsey rep8000. Problem is it needs the motor. Where do you find replacement parts for your stuff like this?

If you haven't already go to the Ramsey website, there should be a place to find authorized dealers/repair representatives by zip code. They probably should be able to ship you one from their site, but I guess that would cost more then finding it locally.

Try a local electrical motor repair shop. Has to be one in that area. maybe it only needs brushes and good cleaning. But it is a simple DC motor nothing complicated unless it has major internal damage.

Ramsey hold the patent on their winch motors so there are no parts available, I would get a new motor from them or check e-bay

found exact replacement, it is a common motor 4.8 hp, thanks for your replies fellas!
