I have a coworker with a Mechanical Engineering degree who couldn't figure out that the 1/4Hex Dewalt drivers have a sliding sleeve (the knurled collet sleeve) to release the bit.  He kept pulling on the bit and then he got pissed at it.  We don't tease him about it because it was pretty embarrassing when I showed him that the sleeve slides.
