We started watching Alone (wilderness survival competition show) a couple weeks ago and the kids were more into it than I expected. This afternoon I asked them if they wanted to build an “Alone shelter” and they said “yeah!” We struck out with 2 shovels, 2 saws, and an axe. I let them pick the spot with minimal guidance and here’s where we ended up.
