I went out to Colorado a few weeks back for my Grandmother's funeral and had some time to kill so we did some driving. I had just gotten my new cellphone and these pictures are off of that. I set the resolution way too low on the one of the jeep.

Went to the Coors brewery and got the short tour (great for those over 21 - a quick elevator ride to a bar where you get three free beers). No pictures of there.

Then we went to Casa Bonita. If you've seen the south park episode with the trip there for kyle's birthday party, well it's the same place. It was just like the episode. The front looked the same, cliff divers inside, flags on the table for when you wanted more taco's, and food you wish you could just die while you were eating it.

And then a random XJ I saw out in lakewood, near Casa Bonita.

And then just to make y'all jealous...the view of my Grandmother's back porch. Yeah, those are the Rocky mountains. I really wish I would've gone up to the second story of the porch to get a picture. You can see the mountains for as far as you can see both to the left and the right of here. The tree's block the view from this deck.

And by 'die while you were eating it' I DID mean you wanted to die because it was that bad. It messed with my poop schedule for like a week.
 
The only time the locals eat there, is when we are taking the tourists...Foods ok, but its the atmosphere!!
Also no one wants to be on Colfax Ave after dark, unless they want to get shot.
I grew up an hour south of there in Colorado Springs.
 
Those are pretty good pics for a cell phone. What kind is it?
 
Been there, done that. How did you like the Coors factory? That and CU is about all that Golden has going for it. Are you coming with me this year to GSW? We can make a pitstop to Casa Bonita on the way down. :lol:

We only had a little time to kill so we did the short tour. We didn't get to go in the brewery much at all. Other than that it was really cool being out there, but it stunk really bad from the hops.

I'm down for another trip out there. The food sucks but then I could say I've been there twice!!
 
GSW -> grand slam west. An event in Moab with about 50 grand cherokees only from all over the country. We even let a few canadians come. :flipoff2:
