My little boy is 7. I was telling him that when he gets older he’s going to have to protect his mom and sister. I told him that daddy’s slow down a little and the son’s have to look out for everybody. He had some questions, I answered, and thought we had a good talk. I leave to go to an event at church tonight and my wife calls me. She said as soon as I walked out, he looked at his mom and said, “ Daddy’s gone, this is my house. Now go do the dishes”. He’s well on his way to becoming a man, lol.
