I will update this as it goes.I just got started tearing my 88 ranger down.
I will be swaping cabs, Moving axle back, installing a dual t-case, and doing some kind of full cage. The bed will be cut down and dovetailed to fit the ex-cab onto the short bed frame.

Bed removed and axle moved back.

I turned the leaf springs around to move the axle back about 5 inches. Also picked up some wheels to make a set of beadlocks out of just need to save some money for a new set of tires.

I will be using two ford ranger t-cases (A 1350 and 1354) with a doubler kit from D.D. machine. I still run the stock ranger 5speed trans. I started working on the doubler last night and will post some pics later in the week.
