RC Crawler for kids 2021?

The scx24 stuff is for inside play mainly. We take the 10th scale crawlers on 4-6 hour hikes up trails (we live in mountains) and have a blast. Pack lunches and spare batteries. Great fun with a 10 yr old.

Anybody on the fence with these should just jump in and do it. It’s tons of fun. The kids and I are building a big course in the back yard.

I picked up one of these a couple months back and it’s a blast to drive with the rear steer. I need to get the dig function hooked up one day soon.

Was at the hobby shop a couple days ago, the new Red cat 1/18 scale crawler looks VERY nice. Only $100. It's nicer looking quality than the axial or FMS crawlers in my opinion.
