I found this new hobby (like i needed one). RC crawling is basically a rc truck that's been torn down and rebuilt as a trail machine. I'm hoping that there are people on here that are in it too. I need a crawl partner.

www.rccrawler.com

carolinarockunnerswebsite is down, but the club is still around

also theres a new club, NCRC rock crawlers. cant remember the website.

ive got a 1.9 scale crawler. leaf sprung fj40.

rccrawler is what got me started actually. I started with a hand built E-maxx crawler, but sold that on ebay (big $) and then switched over to the AX-10.
You know of any good crawl spots?

The Bullhole in coolemee.

cant go wrong in URE.

The DPG is pretty nice.

Did you say Coolamee bull hole?

Thats where I started wheeling at. It used to be cool to park the front bumper under the waterfall. Or do donuts on the slick rock in the river.

Did you know there was a movie filmed there?
Forgot the name of it, but It was a horror flick, where the water made you rot to death.........or something like that.

you talking about cabin fever?

too bad you can't still wheel there.

Cabin Fever was probably the worst horror movie I have ever seen. :shaking:

I've been in the process of building this big rock garden in my back yard to crawl on. It's alot of fun so far, (lots of tight turns and a few areas to test the strength of parts). I ordered another Ax-10 for my girl just so I can get some crawl time in too.:shaking: We're going down for Fun Caravan and taking our rigs with us. Should be lots of fun.
