I know I have seen a similar thread before, but I searched and couldn't find it..

95 Jeep ZJ

Driving down the road the other day and this lady cut me off big time... I go to hit the horn and the low tone is gone. All I get is this high pitched squeal. I am seriously embarrassed to honk my horn. Is this a common problem?? or am I just one of the lucky few?

Any suggestions on a good horn that won't break the bank? I don't need a dixie horn or anything, just something to honk at random people on the side of the road and to cure the common road rage.
 
buy you a pink skirt and some lip stick and live with it jk buddy i think its got 2 horns if im right maybe one of the horns have come unhooked so the other horn is pulling all the juice to it and its to much and makin it work twice as hard

yup..check the wiring before you freakin out. If you can't handle checking the wiring..you can hang up installing a new horn. Chances are like he said, the cable came lose from the connector on the low tone horn. should be able to just plug it back in and roll.
