Rear Tacoma lift question

I got an OME setup used for the frt of my work truck. It should give me around 1 1/2-2". OME recommends replacement rear leafs for this truck, but I'm not putting that much money in my company truck. What works better on a taco, shackles or blocks? Truck is a '01 ext cab, V6, auto. I'm not too familiar with lifts for these trucks, so just looking for some advice from those who are. Thanks

Edit: wrong section, if mods want to move it, thanks.

if its a work truck that typically has stuff in the bed, go with an add a leaf. its usually the best option for a couple of inches, especially if you haul stuff anyway

Its a tacoma, I don't haul much with it. Looking for the best ride possible.

probably shackles...

I don't remember the long add a leaf's being too bad on ride.

Shackles.....blocks hurt my soul
