Rebuild D30 - A Good Idea?

Ok so if anyone has a D30 front for a TJ then look me up on the Want to Buy section. But through searching and calling around Galloways is offering to rebuild my bent D30 and it will be "as good as new." I dont get a chance to 4 wheel alot so its not like i will be pounding on this thing all the time, i use the vehicle as a daily driver. My specs are in the signature. What yall think?
 
How much are you looking at for the rebuild? That will help decide if it is worth it or not.
Also, you can get a new Rubi 44 front from Mopar and swap on your outers.

$300-350. Yeah a new Rubi 44 will only cost $1k or more (most likely more). Not looking to spend that kinda cash. Thanks for the info tho!
 
why not upgrade to a high pinion out of a cherokee? One of my friends is doing that, says it's stronger than the tj 30 and gives more clearance.
 
yea, upgrade!!! i've got what you need...you will just have to regear it to match your rear.
 
I can swap it out for you here and do a partial trade for whats left of your 30 too.

whats your price on a non disconnect hp D30 minus outers? I'm pretty open on gear ratio as I would regear it myself
 
depends on if you want shafts or not. with shafts, its 200.00 with out it is 150.00 gearing is 3.55's.
