Coming down 226 past little Switzerland, about 6 inches past the run away ramp, I lost my brakes. The hydroboost failed. I had one in a parts truck that a shop put on about 2 weeks before the engine went on to glory. It had a.rechargable accumulator. I can't find any info about it. What pressure should it have, and what do I recharge it with?

It's just like your well pressure tank (except that uses a bladder), you don't recharge it you just put a nitrogen charge in it (once) and every time your ps pump builds pressure it also builds pressure in the accumulator and compresses a piston into the nitrogen charge. You would adjust nitrogen charge for different hydraulic pressures though, like if you upped the relief pressure on your pump.

So if I don't recharge it if and when I ever use it why does it say rechargeable on it

Because just like your tires it can lose nitrogen pressure over a decade. You can check the pressure with a high pressure gauge with a Schrader but you need an accumulator filling gage for not losing pressure when doing so. your best bet if it worked is to do nothing. Hydroboost brakes with an accumulator just like vacuum brakes with a working check valve have at best 3 pumps before you're back to manual.

There's the information I wanted. I have no intentions of trying to check it or even fill it. I was just wondering what to put in it and how to do it. Hopefully I won't lose my brakes coming down another Mountain. I think I still have pieces of seat cover in my butt crack.
