recomend a good wireless internet air card

Looking to get a wireless internet card for my computer since i'm going to be needing internet as i'm moving about. I don't know who to call. I want something that will have a decent price, and get signal in chapel hill, durham, raleigh, and anywhere between raleigh and wilmington.

Also, if you know of a company that would do month by month instead of a yearly contract that would be a plus.

T-Mobile has some good deals and has a good bit of 3g in the area you are talking. Should be getting even faster in the next few months.

Got friends with the Verizon card and they swear by it. Travel all up and down the east coast with it with great service.

Time Warner also has a new mobile card. Not sure if they are in that area, but definitely check them out.

Another option that may (or may not) be cheaper is to upgrade your cell phone, and tether it for the same access. I do this all the time and seem to get great speed.

Yep cell tether is a good idea too. I use the iPhone and jailbroke it to do so.
