I have a buddy that has a V6 automatic tacoma with 9 inches of lift and he stuck a set of 37's on it.Obviously it needs regearing! The rear is pretty simple, but he was wondering what all is involved with changing the gear in the independant frontend. How hard it is and what kind of price range..Any ideas?

$525 parts and labor, Gears, bearings and both side seals, set up if you bring me the diff. Have everything in stock.
As for complexity yes they are more difficult then rears, but they are ring and pinions, its just more of an art. We do alot of them through the mail b/c alot of guys don't do them. And we have seen alot of blown up ones. One piece of advice use a high quality gear or you will hate yourself. Call us or check our site fo gear and install kit prices www.eastcoastgearsupply.com
