Registering the Jeep (playtoy)

Any way to register/insure my jeep as a sunday driver or something? Trying to save some money and I really only drive the jeep maybe, once a month, if that. Would be handy for going to Uwharrie so I could drive on the service roads and up to the gas station and what not without having to worry.

Any ideas?

So if I register the Jeep as my "pleasure" vehicle, what kind of savings are there? Will this give me cheaper insurance also?

Sorry, I have always just registered vehicles straight up, same for insurance. Only recently thought about this because I heard someone discussing it at the last meet and greet but didn't get over there in time to catch the tail end.
 
about the only thing in NC is "antique" tags...but lots of restrictions. IIRC, must be garaged, can only drive to shows and events and the shop, etc.
 
your gonna need a lincese to register anything in your name.
