Remote Res Shocks On front Of XJ

Has anyone attempted to rum remote resevoir shocks on the front of XJ? I know its gonna be tight if its even possible.. Wondering if the inner fender can be tweakd to get em in there. pics would be appreciated. Thanx
 
Something like this? Lots of plating and a engine cage helps to tie it all in.

Yea I wasnt trying to get that involved right yet I was thinking more along the lines of getting sum Shock Stem eliminaters and stuffing them in there mayb sum massaging.. or locating resevoir in engine compartment via hole saw..?
 
Not even worth it for such a small res.they cant do much better than 5100s, The reason Im asking is bc I just got a screaming deal on sum of rustys new remote res shocks from a buddy and was gonna try and squeez em in.
 
thanx, I have sum w/ a bigger resevoir, and it looks like the body of mine might be larger, they r the new rustys rx300s, so is there any clearence issues w/ the hose?.. Was thinkn that the tire may make contact w/ it. Looks sweet by the way:beer:
