I'm replacing the o2 sensor in my girlfriend's Subaru and the original anti seize dried up and is hard as a rock. So I can't screw the new sensor in. Any tricks so I don't have to remove the exhaust?

Thanks,
Jesse

Thread tap. If you don't have a thread tap, you can use a bolt of the same size and cut some slot down the threads with a dremel that can act the same as a tap to clean dirty threads.

Wire brush and brake parts cleaner will take care of it. Just wear safety glasses and let it dry out well before you put the new sensor in.

eddy's auto in boger city has them

here's what I have used in the past....just a suggestion ymmv.

I have a 50 cal brass barrel brush for cleaning gun barrels.

I cut the end of it off flush and it will chuck right into a hand chuck drill like a dewalt cordless. Then ream away
