How do I get my simulators off without damaging them?

It's just a fancy word for hub caps. They "simulate" a chrome wheel.

to take mine off I just have to take off the lugs, and take them off, the lugs is what holds them on

The ones I've got have a center cap and what they call the liner. so it's a two piece deal. I just don't wanna bend them up trying to get them off. I'm transferring them to my parant's camper; I'm getting a new set.
*So I'm assuming I need to get the center cap off first.

YUP!
I was able to get the center cap off, then saw that there is a ring that holds the "liner" in place. The center cap slides onto the ring lip. Gotta remove the lug nuts to remove said ring and liner.
