The guy said if nobody bought it he was going to take target practice at it, what else could we do but buy it? Motor runs good, no rust on body or frame. The AC blows cold, power everything works... Interior needs some TLC, and I need to figure out what's wrong with the transmission/tcase that's keeping it from moving reliably...

WOW DUDE!! Sweet find! i wish i could find a sweet FSJ like that!

Thanks! The wife and I have wanted one to drive ever since we bought a junk one to part out a few years ago... It's still sinking in how clean the body is. It's got maybe 4 half dollar sized rust through spots in the cargo area, that's it...

it is sexy man. i have XJs that i wont let die. if rut rust out and motor swaps. and if i had a beauty like that id do the same

nice find, planning to keep it stock or slowly do some mod's over time?

We really just want to drive it for right now. It needs a fair amount of routine maintenance catch-up, and the t-case seems to be sporadically shifting into neutral; at least that's my current theory for the lack of reliable movement.

The wife is pretty intent on not letting me mess with this one until we've gotten to enjoy it for a while...

I foresee a 4" lift and some 33's. We want a expo-style wheeler eventually; mild wheeling and some camping/hunting and general reliable transportation...

I've always wanted one done that exact way for the same purpose

Good find

is that woodchuck beer:popcorn:
I don't know that I would call it "beer", that seems kind of offensive to beers everywhere, but yes, the wife does enjoy her Woodchuck... She did as much work with the come-along as I did, so she decided to celebrate as well!
Getting it off the trailer was much easier, I recently put an 8274 on my YJ...
