Alright, the other day my review fell off my windshield. Simple, I know, go get "glue kit" and put it back on. Despite even thinking, "make sure you dont glue it on backwords." I had a brainfart of some time, and know my the little piece of metel that the mirror mounts to, is glued on the wrong way.

Can i pry this off with any old scrape or razor blade? Anyone have any advice? I dont want to damage the windshield. Let me know.

Thanks, Tim

Take a razor blade and push it between the glass and button, you may have to GENTLY tap it in but it will pry it back off.
Check with a local glass shop most will reinstall it for $25 and life time warranty.

you can heat the windshield but only for a short time if using a heat gun. however, that fresh glue will put up a fight... get a single edge razor blade, soap and water and just go all the way around it to help break the seal. dont apply to much pressure when removing because you could very easily have a piece of glass come off with it

If all the above advice fails, try some "Goof Off" or rubbing alcohol with the razor blade. Dab it on so it stays on the button and doesn't run down the windshield. Give it a few minutes to soak in.

last resort; get new metal thing and glue it just above the old one. the mirror will block the veiw of the backasword one.

I still think my suggestion is the easiest.....

i put it on backwards, not upside down. This would not be possible. There bracket is a wedge which holds the mirror to the windshield.

and an update note; I imagine once it gets a little warmer (read: not 35 degrees) A razor will work to get it off. Meanwhile I am getting used to not using a rear view mirror.
