anyone want to go to carolina or brushy one sunday? I have been to brushy mountain but never been to carolina adventure world. i got a 450r quad.

I'll go down to carolina with you. It's pretty fun. However, with the lack of rain, that place should be like the desert about now.

I've been wanting to hit brown mtn. Let me know if you want to go one weekend.

will do. I am going to be out of town next weekend and busy the 6th. maybe the 13 or 14th. what do you ride?

I ride an 05 450r. But I always bring the reliable recon with me too. I've had lots of fun on that recon! You'd be surprised where you can find yourself on that thing.

Would you be up for a trip to west virginia? I've never been, but would at least like to check it out.

I ride a 450r also. I have a 07 with a hrc kit on it. the special edition one.
yea I wouldnt mind riding the hatfield-mccoy trails. I have never been. Have you heard how they would be on a sport quad?

I've talked with a few people from other boards and they all say the more fun stuff is not on the mccoy trails. I'm thinking, the mccoy trails are wide, flat and probably groomed pretty decent.
I like to ride the more technical stuff. If you can make it up some of the hills at brown and uwharrie without tearing up a skid plate and with fighting the clutch, mccoy trails may be a bit boring. But, I'd like to go for some of the scenery. Maybe the 450r's can get us there a little quicker!
I'll see if I can get a few folks together. I have a small meetup group that posts rides on the website. Check it out if you want to. Hasn't been very active lately because of the hot weather, but I'm thinking more people will participate when it cools down a bit. http://www.meetup.com/Decomp-ATV-Riders/

I have a built offroad rig but just recently got into atv's. I have went up all of brushy mountain in taylorsville no problem. they say that that place is pretty difficult so I was ok on that. I am not scare dof anything worst case scenario I jump off if it rolls lol. I have a 12 tooth on my 450r now and that really helped not having to mess with the clutch. later I might put the 13 back on since it has not been on since the cam install and such. Later on down the line I might get one of them rekkluse (sp) clutches. but yes I have been looking on your site and I will definatly get up and ride. I cannot go on the 6th but after that weekend I am free. It is nice meeting other that like to ride.

Im a huge Rekluse fan! Once you ride with one of those, you won't ever have anything without one. If you can, replace the basket at the same time you install the new clutch. I kept the stock basket, but everytime I ride hard, that basket smashing to bits is always in the back of my mind.

you got one on your 450r? best I have seen them is around 600. that a good price?
