Riding lawnmower question

My father in law just gave me a new to me riding lawn mower. Only used twice. Been sitting for 2 years without being used. Started it up, and runs like garbage. Anyone know a good place that is reasonable that can tune up my mower in the Roxboro/Durham area. Thanks

I would just run some carb cleaner through it, replace the gas, change the oil, and I bet after a tank of gas it will be fine.
Mine always runs like crap the first few times after just sitting for the winter. 2 years of sitting would make that gas unhappy I bet.
 
x2 but go to the local marine store and buy a can of Mercury Power Tune instead of carb cleaner. Best kept secret... Get it running, rev the piss out of it while bursting it in the carb. Keep giving it hard but keep running. Then at WFO spray it in as hard as possible and immediately turn off. Let stand for 10 minutes or so and fire it up. It will smoke like a champ at first and then purr like a kitten. Or maybe not... :popcorn:
