Rig Weights

Been thinking alot about the weight of my rig and my tow vehicle. I currently have a K5 that weights just under 5,000lbs already, I have a 14ff, Dana 60 and 37" tires ready to be installed, that I expect will be right at another 1,000lbs. My tow rig is a newer 1/2 Tahoe. I don't expect to be upgrading that anytime soon. I live on the coast so it's a good tow to get just about anywhere good to wheel. So the weight of the K5 has become a concern to me. Was wondering if there's any good information out there as to the weights of most rigs. I know that the Suzuki will be one of the lightest, what about a ton CJ, Scout, Toyota's and so on. Thinking about looking for something easier to tow. Hoping to make about 6 trips a year and don't want to run the Tahoe down doing so or be unsafe while towing. Any thoughts? Can anyone share alittle detail about there rig and the weight of it?

I havent got my new weights yet since I cut 3.5 feet of frame off my 78 F150 and I havent weighed the tow rig by itself yet.

My 78 F150 with a 60 king pin ford front and 14b ff rear with 42" tsl's on recentered h1s with a 351M and a homemade steel/wood flatbed weighs 6800 lbs according to the local CAT scale. 4200 front 2600 rear. That was with the stock 133" wheelbase. I cut the wheel base down to 108" and cut 3.5 feet off the rear of the frame now the rear tires are just behind the cab its only a few inches longer wheelbase than Dad's bronco now.

The entire rig weight with a half tank of diesel in the F250 and less than a 1/4 tank in the f150 came out to 18,520 lbs with me and a passenger plus camping stuff.
