I plan on 4.88s, master install kits, ox locker rear with electronic actuator, lunchbox front with new carrier for gears, and one piece shafts for the rear. I bet Mars fab could put a truss together for me pretty reasonably as well.
Any idea what the ballpark labor on this should run me for budget purposes?
I am looking to get this done before the end of February I am thinking.
Tearing down the AMC 20 and rear gearing with new e-locker and 1 piece axle shafts and fabbing and welding up a truss is 1.5-2 days shop rate I imagine. Another 4-6 hours for the front 30 if all goes well.
If you want to bring it to Raleigh, We are ready, before you spend all that money on a AMC 20 you might consider one of our complete bolt in axles. JEEP CJ COMPLETE BOLT IN AXLE ASEEMBLIES East Coast Gear Supply

A locker will strip the 2 piece axles within a day of just driving around town. Might as well just go ahead and plan for the 1 piece shafts at the same time. Not sure about the truss, never had issues with mine but have heard of them bending easily.
