Something I'll never forget about Dolly:

Rock n Roll HOF: Dolly, we're inducting you into the HOF!

Dolly: Awe that's sweet but I decline, I haven't earned it because I'm not rock.

RRHOF: Well we're doing anyway.

Dolly: Well since you insist, here's a rock and roll album. Now you can include me.

Actually met her when I was about 13 when a friend of mines parents bought some of her family land in Tennessee. She had to meet them and approve them. She was super nice. Pond full of fish you could feed from your hand with dog food.

When my daughter was born, my wife signed her up for the Imagination Library. My daughter received a book every month till she turned 5...for free!

Every time we read the book she received, when we got to the end, there was a picture of Dolly on the last page and my daughter would always say "Thank you, Dolly!" so Mrs. Parton has always had a special part of my heart because of my daughter.
