friggin old ass lady t boned my dad while he was drivin it, near the rear tire, got spun sideways and went into a 4-5 foot monstrous ditch, rolled it over once and landed up on her wheels still runnin.

gotta love a chevy
 
Nice ass first truck... is the engine/trans still good? :D
I would asume so based on damage, but never know...
 
im pretty sure its still good. cant get it to crank though. the frame doesnt even appear to be bent so im not sure what the deal is.
 
having just gone through this.

get yourself a set of rims form a junkyard with tires.
salvage yards dont care what you replace stuff with as long as it gets replaced.

grab the tires the wheels and the radio, and whatever else you upgraded.

then turn around and sell em off.
 
Are you not hitting it on the womans insurance? They are gonna want to total it probably... Then you will have to buy it back from insurance, cheap, but still.

Maybe its not as much damage as it looks like though...
 
yea her insurance is covering everything. and trust me its even more fucked up than the pics show. the roof is touching the passenger seat, the drivers door dont close, its all fucked up

Thats the problem with getting something just like you like it when someone can out of no where and knock the stuffings out of it. Hopefully she has good insurance...
 
don't cars these days have inertia switches in them? if so, thats prob. why it won't start. It must be reset after the accident.


Dylan pointed out what I was thinking when I saw the pics, nice rear steer :D

Anyway, sorry for the loss. What motor? 5.3? Its worth a few $$$ to someone building a buggy if you strip it out.

I'd expect it to be totaled if the cab is crunched that bad. The rear axle is fawked all twisted up like that...
