After a 12 day Ultimate Adventure to Tellico, Dayton, Windrock and Harlan, NC 4x4 member RKBJR finished up the trip by snapping his rear pinion shaft on Kodak Rock at UNF. Must have been weakened by the beating it took on some of the toughest trails in the southeast :)

Sounds like you broke alot of shit through out the trip RK, but I wouldnt expect anything else from the places you went. I want to see pictures of the roll over :flipoff2:

That was a fine spline he broke at URE, took care of a coarse spline at harlan, which caused his rollover.......he had a good week i think though......hes also looking for 1 tons now :fuck-you:

That's not a fine-spline in the picture...

R.K.... repeat after me.. light is right...light is right..

He damn sure put a workout on that rig this past week...

damn wasnt u working on that thing at harlan also ... jk man we talked to u all friday at the campground

We did have a good time on our trip, and wheeled at some good places. My buddy Benjie Lewis went with me. He wheels an '85 4Runner with a 350/SM465/NP205, 37" Boggers, exo-cage, etc.

Windrock was very slick and muddy due to the rain. We really enjoyed Harlan, already making plans to go back next year. Uwharrie was dusty as usual, we finished the trip there for the CTB Fun Caravan.

There was some breakage as shown in the pic. I broke 1 birfield, 1 long side front inner axle, 2 rear pinions (one leading to a roll-over), and 1 locker. Both pinions were coarse splined, the one that broke at Kodak Rock was supposed to be fine splined but obviously wasn't.

I don't have any pics yet, a couple of people are supposed to be sending some. I don't have any pics of the roll because Benjie and myself were the only two on the trail at that point, we were busy driving and spotting for each other.

Man, does THAT ever sound familiar... (If you need another third to get you by, I have a spare one at the house, probably coarse)

Glad you made it home in 1 piece, even if the Cruiser is in a few...
