Road Conditions in Morganton

Whats the Roads look like up that way? I am heading that way in about an hour and was wondering what 18 looked like up from Shelby to I-40.

I-40 is mostly clear, I hadn't been on 18, but if it's like 70 and 64, it's scrapped, but only the top is gone. Not deep, but packed snow/ice

Inside the city limits in clear, the side roads have been scraped but there just two bare tracks for driving, Not bad if you take it easy.

the main roads are good but the back roads are almost a solid sheet of ice

My wife is leaving today from Williamston (27892) to Rock Hill,SC. Traveling 64w to 40w to 85 and 77 south any input on road conditions would be appreaciated. Thanks

I tried it, made it from cliffside, to almost 74 took an hour to drive 10 miles dont think I will attempt it today.
