Road trip information

I am heading to Tellico this Thursday morning (12 am) I will be heading up I-40 and would like to get a few phone numbers in case something were to break.

Here is the timeline guestimate:

2 am Raleigh
430 am Winston Salem
630am Hickory


I am looking for anyone that is relatively close to 40 and would be willing to give us a hand finding local parts places and stuff. Also anyone one here that runs a wrecker/recovery service also, because I have road side assistance and obviously if my junk breaks the insurance co will pay for a tow.

I am just a few miles off I-40 at exit 94, but I will be at work till around 7 and home around 8 am Thursday morning, so I doubt I could help ya if needed.

Just FYI, you have to really drive like a grandma to take 2.5 hrs to get from Raleigh to Winston Salem.
You can get from Cary to Asheville in about 4.5 hrs, 5.5 if driving conservatively.

My top speed is only about 55ish, as is my buddies truck. That is the reason for such and early departure. I would hate to get ganked because we are driving to slow.:lol:
 
I want to thank everyone that sent me some contact information. Thankfully we didn't need it, but I felt a little better knowing if something came up we couldn't handle, at least we would have someone in the area to hold our hands while we cried.:lol: Thanks again, and if any of you guy ever head this way give me a shout.
