Robcars in Granite Falls NC

Im close to there, where is it located in Granite Falls? What truck is it?

I found the truck your talking about, its a good looking truck from the road.If you like I can stop and have a closer look.:popcorn:Maybe take a couple pics of it.

Thanks!!

That is one SHADY dude....

He let me ride an hour and a half and then "couldn't" sell it to me because he hadn't had it inspected....

I mean, I was standing on his lot with the money in my hand!!!

So I spent 3 hours and about $40 in fuel for nothing!!!

Well, the name is rob cars.

Just trying to make a joke on the internet, please forgive me.

He was justbeing honest, state law requires dealers to have every car inspected(even if its not due) before they sell it. Problem is the DMV's computers are linked up with the inspections computers on raleigh, so in other words if he sold it to you without having it inspected than you would not have been able to get tags and title for said vehicle. It happens alot. Its a PITA to get every car inspected, especially since if the CEL has been on or the battery replaced. You have to drive some vehicle 150mi + to reset the computer. Fuckin state of NC for you

Inspection

I understand about the inspections... No problem with that.

My problem is I called him Thursday about lunch time and told him I was coming. He had all afternoon to get in inspected. He let me ride an hour and a half, and the truck was "unable" to be sold. He also told lie after lie about the truck....

Very very shady dude.

he can take it anywhere to get it inspected takes all of 30 min sounds like he wants to keep the truck

Damn......LOL.

That is reallly just around the corner from me. I pass by there EVERY day. I had no idea is was a "dealership.' Just thought it was people selling cars in front of a house/garage thing.

Bummer about the shady deal. People like that are best not to deal with at all, in my experience.

Maybe his douchebaggery was really a blessing in disguise for you.

;)
