Tired of these damn BFG AT's
Great for the street and trails, .... but
aired down they still leave a lot to be desired on the rocks @ Uwharrie.
What are ya'll running, what do ya like and why ?

I'll be replacing in the 35 x 17 ... 315/70-17 size range.
Thanks

For Uwharrie? I like round tires..:)

Super Swamper TSL Bias.

I'm not running them at the moment but up until about 3 months ago I have always ran TSLs. Great all around tire on the trails in all conditions. Right now I'm running some cheapo wild country MTs. They do okay but they are really heavy and have a crappy sidewall. Gonna be doing an axle swap soon and I'm considering BFG Kevlars, Trail or Mud Grapplers or Iroks. Great experiences with all mentioned.

I'm running cooper discovery stt on my xj. Aired down to 15 psi the do great off road.

Round tires that hold air are the best there. There is no perfect tire for all of it but really any mt or at will be fine for dry weather condition. If its wet a mt and throttle are king.

Bias tsl's or if you want radial kevlars are nice

I like Cooper STTs. Going to buy a set here soon.

I ran radial Pitbull Rockers and they were a good all around tire

Goodyear wrangler mtr k. I love them. Grippy and strong sidewalls.

54" Boggers.
Worthless, but they look kewl.

i like my 33" LTBs they have been tough and hook up well, actually aren't too bad aired up on the highway either, they seem to shine brighter compared to other tires when it is slightly wet out, not slop but day after rain type conditons

scared to death!!!!!

x2 they are very flexy aired down, I was impressed with Jason's this weekend with how they wrap around the rocks.
I've been looking at these, I kinda watch what's working best on other rigs and see these as a good choice too.
Surprizingly i see a bunch of MR2's as well.

With a lot of stuff in the offroading world, the best tires are the ones that appeal to you the most.
True, however what i have now is NOT appealing to me, so short of testing tires on meh own I'll solicit advice.

That helps, ...the last thing i want is "cool"

Keep the feed back coming, still not made meh mind up.

Anyone have input on Thornbirds ?

Turdbirds suck
