I don’t need to haul it necessarily. It will be for personal use on my land, mostly clearing for a building, driveway, shop, pool, etc. Then used for tinkering as needed.
I did see some bigger machines for reasonable, but the cost to get them to my property outweighs any savings. Having a D7 parked out back would be nice. But it’s not as practical and costs some $ to haul in. It would probably tear up more than it would help after it’s done it’s primary role of clearing the building area.
Realistically, I don’t have a trailer that I would use with confidence to haul a dozer unless it was under 10k lbs. As much as I’d like to have one, a good sized gooseneck is not in the arsenal since I’ve never really needed it (until now 
)
