rockwells in scrap pile

today i was at biltmore iron in asheville and found a complete truck just thought id post i hate to see good parts gone to scrap

a lot of the scrap places will sell their stuff to you for the same price that they sell it to the mills. Check it out.

I had seen a 2.5 ton military tow truck up at DH Griffin in greensboro and I asked about the axles and the guy told me 5k. He said the axles were worth that much in scrap. Other places I have picked up axles for next to nothing there, its definately worth checking into.

i think the rears are still their /fellow board member went and bought front it cost him $150

I kind of figured. I'd be hard pressed to believe that the entire rig was worth 5k in scrap.
