the part of rockmountain loop that takes you from dutch john north to slabpile....

is this doable by a inexperienced driver in a 06 rubicon on 33's with no spotter....I want to go the oppisite way from kodak rock...

well Im just wanting to stay away from kodak...Im going by myself (well my girls riding shotty) just wanting to keep it simple in the daily driver...

If you come the backside of kodax you and the girls could park at the top of the hill and walk down to see everyone esle break their stuff. If you go up towards kodax then you will hit that double rock btw tree, you can make it but I do not think the next trip is going to be a "test-it-out-without-a-spoter-I-might-get-high-centerd" trip

You can still go through kodak, bypass on the side with the fence. You can bypass the ledge as well. Daniel is getting tough but, I think you will be okay. If you have a winch then go no worries. Without a winch check it out first. You will not be the only person there and I hope someone would give a small hand
Just think if you dont try it then later you would have wished you had

you can do any trail in ure with that jeep. most everything that is hard has a bypass anyway. If you're unexperienced and don't want to push it and you're with your girl i'd not do daniel but anything else you will be golden.

If your going this weekend. Your welcome to ride with us :driver: We are going to have 3 rigs going down there and camping this weekend.

Jason is a good guy, smells a bit but has a heart of gold.Hook up with them and you won't go wrong.

I do all of UNF on a stocker 50 Willys with 31 inch old school mudgrips on open axles and have no problems. You should be golden on a trail rated TJ on 33s.

Tim let me know when you're going. You can make it up 2 parts of kodak on your rubi... I've done 2 different sections on 31s. The face is more dugout now and now I can't get my tires up on it. Of course there is always the bypass. If you're going alone at least borrow my come-along and take a bunch of rope with you. You should be able to go anywhere you want in URE with your setup though. Give me a call.

I've run Daniel and RML in a stock Samurai on 215 street tires. I didn't take the bypass at Kodak either.

You got to love Jimmy's humor. Rob I dont know how much wheeling we are going to be doing. But if we go out your welcome to join us. We are going to be staying at Badin lake campground at sites 20 and 21

no problem with a rubi on 33's.

I had a tj on 31" street tires and no lockers follow me up rocky mount loop a few weekends ago. No problems at all. Just take the bypass once you get to kodak.

I actually meant the other way on rocky mountain loop oppisite of kodak....then to sawmill?

Still no prob!! I've run every trail except Daniel in 30 YO cj5.Listen to these guys when they say don't go by yourself.Trust me!!:bounce2:

Today, 360 Spyder and I ran the RML; started at the double-parking lot, headed southward (clockwise) down and around, up past Kodak, and left onto SawMill.
He was in a bone stock TJ w/ 31" MTs, open both ends, and had no problems. Couldn't quite do the ledge before Kodak (no shock there), but no problems w/ the bypass.

BTW, while were at Kodak we saw a guy in a very tall (36s?) newer white Blazer take the lower "Tree" route... and relieve himself of his rear D-side window on the tree.
Was pretty entertaining when we heard it go POP!

Was good to meet you Dave. Had a great time and no real issues except the ledge, but hey... she's still stock. ;)

That Blazer... yeah... I'm sure he had fun explaining that to the Mrs. :D

My son took most of the pictures. I took like maybe 4 or 5 but when I uploaded them to my computer, there were 106 pictures!! Some came out pretty dang well for an 8 year old who had never used my camera before.
