hey yall im looking at a rough country 6 inch for my bronco and i was wondering if any of yall have one and if it is a good lift. also i was wondering if there was any where in raleigh or surounding areas that i can buy one insted of having to get it on the internet

DONT DO IT!!!! Rough Country TTB lifts are possibly the worst on the market. They use the stock mounting holes for the axle pivot drop down brackets and give no other support. The extra length of the brackets creats a crapload of force on the stock three bolts holding the bracket on and tends to rip loose. My 94 F150 had the drivers side mount ripped almost completely off and I had had it less than a year. It was also My DD so I never wheeled it all that hard. If your going to lift your TTB truck go with skyjacker or some brand that gives the drop down brackets a little more support. Ive got some pics of mine on my digital camera that Ill post up tonight.

for the price, ehhh, sure, but you get what ya pay for. look for somthin with a full spring rear, rather than blocks; skyjacker is good, dick cepak seems great too.

I've got a 6" class II Skyjacker lift for a FS Bronco. Ran it for two years. I had heard the same bad reports about the cheap lifts. I am going to be putting it up for sale shortly. PM me if interested.

I installed one on a cherokee (4.5"). And within 3 weeks, installed a Terraflex cherokee lift, a Terraflex TJ lift, and a Rubicon Express TJ lift. The RC lift was crap compared to the others. The quality difference was quite noticable. Not sure how the lift lasted cus the guy got hit by a drunk driver a couple of weeks later

There are two guys from NC Krawlers in Greenville, NC that run 6" kits on cherokees. You might be able to find them at nckrawlers.com if you want there review.
