Discussing a Meet and Greet and a member has offered to bring an RTI ramp, what if any liability or insurance type paperwork would need done to make the venue hosting the meet aswell as this site and the member who is bringing the RTI safe from lawsuit or any other type of trouble.

Any information would be appreciated, tried looking around on google but got no decisive answers.

don't let strangers on it, only club members? I don't think we've ever worried with that since we just have our club rigs on it, never any new people

Not exactly a club, doing a general NC4x4 meet. Ive heard waivers are meaningless, and even if someone signed it they could still sue. I wish it was as easy as just trying everyone, but that is not the world we live in.

we do live in a sad time when you have to worry about being sued over something like this.
but i totaly agree, need to get the facts before hand!

Unfortunately you pretty much have two options- either take the risk, or don't do it. If you're nervous about it go ahead and have people sign waivers, but just realize that if it goes to court they may not do anything for you. Frankly I don't see an RTI ramp as being hugely dangerous, but I suppose that some dumbass could always flop on it. You could always have a "ramp master" at the ramp to tell newbies when to stop if you think that would help.

Pretty much the options we have came up with, I suppose that could work, would have to run it past wherever we have the meet. Thanks for your responses.
