running propane ?

i have a 88 xj wanting to run propane . how do i go about it . and what are the pros and cons compared to gas
is it really worth the trouble .

Is your heep carb or EFI? If carbed then I would definetly go with it. If its EFI then I would seriously think about it first. Why are you thinking about the swap? Are you having any issues? I love my propane and it was a pretty easy install.

Most gas stations carry bbq exchange tanks or green coleman tanks.

na mine is efi but i am building a buggy from a 88 xj and just noticed every 1 runs propane , went to URE with a friend and seen several guys running it.

is there anywhere else to ride besides URE ?

Stay efi, check the stickies there is a list of legal places to wheel in there.

I run propane, if I had fuel injection I would stay with that. Biggest reason being ease of fueling up.
