Rust Converter

I'm looking for a rust converter that won't break the budget.
anyone have any god experiences with any of these products?

What would you use?

Ospho - I've seen at Lowe's - works great - but doesn't leave the surface smooth.

Onestep

A product called Onestep, works well for me. I think I got it at Pep boys. (spraycan). Oh, and it works even better, if you wire brush, or scrape the thick stuff off 1st.

I've used the SEM brand, found pretty much anywhere auto paint is sold. The underside of the floor in my '51 Ford is cover in it then painted with black equpment enamel. HAs looked great for 5+ years. There is Rust Mort and Rust Seal by SEM either works pretty much the same.

I've used them all. Best stuff is called Rust Converter (Imagine that). Cheapest price I can find is Deluth Trading Company about $40 a gallon. Works as good if not better than others. I dislike Por15. Rust bullet is a little better but this stuff is the bomb. Same stuff as the spray can sold at WalMart if you needed to get to a hard to reach area.
