I am starting to do some research on what is involved in swapping out my IFS with a soild axle. I was wondering wha kind of fab work is involved and what kind of cutting needs to be done. Any help would be great.

For a mild lift what kind of springs would i need to use, something that at least would be able to suport 35s or bigger. It will be the start of a project that will be trail only but right now it is a daily driver. So i need something that i can wheel for fun then down the road build something bad ass. Just trying to get ideas on what kind of parts i need to start gathering up. Any one that can help with any info would be a great help.

I used 4" waggie springs from Alcan on mine, and I am about to do another one with 4" waggie springs with no body lift on 35's. It really depends on how much you want to cut the fenders. I plan on doing very little cutting on the truck that is getting 35's.

What type of springs are best to use in the rear? If i use a 44 out of a waggy, like i have been told will be the best option, i will have a good bit of options to choose from. With a bit of fab work. But on the rear it seems like a spring over is one way to go but what are other ways to et the same amount of lift to match the front.

I dont think that i will use a body lift unless i have no other options. Not sure about the fender trimming, i guess i will cross that bridge when i come to it.
