On the NC Hunt and Fish forum there is a member who plays Santa each year for other forum members.
Basically, upon request from a member he will call on Christmas eve to talk to the kids. The magic is best on the younger ones and it is amazing to see the posts from all the dads on the forum talk about their kids' reaction. I am no actor but I'm sure there is someone out there who could start a similar tradition here.
