Has anyone on this board sased a newer body 99^ Chevy? If so can you direct me to a build thread or etc...Been searching but cant seem to find many on the net or etc. Also if any of the vendors have id like to bounce some questions off you. thanks

deleted last post after checking the web,, something about the boxed hydroformed frame under the round body styles is keeping companies from making kits for the swap, so the few i did find were home brew contraptions.
i know it can be done because ive seen em, but i'll keep lookin

i know most are homemade brackets that are done. I also know that Fabritech makes a kit for the NBS. Just not having much luck finding info....seems like there would be a few kits out there.

there was one in TTC

Try this. This guy used the cage offroad sas kit for a 2500. I can say that the stuff I have seen that comes from that company is really good quality. I know 2 guys that have there sas kit on broncos and seem very happy with them. The guy in this article used both new axles but Im sure you could use a drivers drop dana 44 and convert it to 6 lug to match your factory rear axle. He also talked about having to move his steering box forward. I'm not sure why that is but I haven't been under many chevy's to see how their set up.

this truck was at the fourwheel jambo in ohio last year. Pretty baddass! It had 39 boggers and the engine was built. If i had one this is what it would look like.

I believe this is "Black4x4" on GMfullsize.com, there are a few on there with SAS build threads. And yea, there are no kits out for the 1/2 tons due to liability reasons for the crumple zone in the frames.

Kits are readily available to the 3/4 and 1 tons though. I would love to swap a dodge AAM 9.25 (direct plug in to keep ABS) or a 60 under my white truck if I ever got rid of my Dmax.
