I've got some stuff to scrap and I'm sure like everyone else, want as much $$ for the weight. I've only scrapped stuff in Raleigh and it was always somewhere around ten cents per pound. I'm in Kannapolis now and all I've found so far is 3-4 dollars per one hundred pounds. And after doing the math, I'd be getting just around half what I was getting in Raleigh.
Have scrap prices dropped dramatically or am I not looking at the right places?
I'll drive a little ways if it's worth it. So, if anyone has any input on where to check out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
