search problems

I am trying to search for some wheels. In the wheels and tires section right now there is a listing with 16.5 " wheels in the title. I went to search to find any listing with 16.5 in it. I get nothing. Search 16.5" still nothing, yet i can see the thread with the number 16.5 mentioned about 4 times in it and it's on the first page. What am i doing wrong?

I think the period throws it off. Fulltext search isn't that smart.
