The 2010 SFWDA Summer Convention will be held at Uwharrie National Forest, june 11-13, 2010. The convention will be hosted by the Carolina Trail Blazers and C.O.R.E. 4wd clubs.
There will semi primitive camping available at no charge with port-a-lets available at The Cagle Farm. There is a country store with all necessary supplies including fresh cooked food and gas 1/2 mile from the convention site.
The Uwharrie OHV area offers 16 miles of Forest Service OHV trails that range from easy to moderately challenging in difficulty. Access to the OHV trail head is on FS roads so vehicles will need to be street legal and registered, or towed from the convention site, 2 miles to the trail head.
Make plans now to attend the 2010 Summer Convention and support SFWDA at it continues to be a voice for public land access in the South!
