Anyone here that can do a few small items with very simple bends or know of a place that can? I need some floor ext. panels made for my 77 EB. No curves in any of them, just really basic. Thanks SB

BTT, anybody?? Dont really want to go buy a brake for something I'll never use again. SB

How basic is basic ? What size panels ? Do you have the steel ? I can do bends upto 36" wide on my little brake. It's not a pan/box brake so I can't do complicated stuff..

I need about 5" w x 7" L. Shaped kinda like this.

__/--------

Crappy rendering but yeah, very simple. I have 16 gauge to do it with and even have templates to work with, theyre just either too long or too short. SB

Better yet, how about pics of what I need?

surf - 3/16" LOL not in my brake :) try heating it w/ a torch and bending it over. Or just cutting it and rewelding it ?

Newbie - You have 2 planes of bends, the flat "L" bends/contour, then the side bent over ~90deg.. _|

How many pieces do you need to do ? 2? or a few of each.. ?

I 'could' do it in mine by making a custom top clamp piece to fit 'inside' the 90deg edge, more/less simulating what a finger brake would do. I have some 3" channel that would probably work..

Send me a pm if your still interested in doing it.
