Sheriffs in Holly Springs Area

Does anyone know any Sheriffs in the Holly Springs area? I have a tenant that is writing me bad checks and may need someone to stop by and pay them a visit.

Also, is there a NC website that explains the consequences of writing bad checks. I heard the judge could rule 3x the value of the check.

IIRC, writing a check that you know is bad can be charged as a felony - "obtaining goods under false pretense" or something like that.

I don't know any of the Sheriffs in town, sorry.
