Shock measurement question

Bought a k-5 today, glad to be back! I know I'm gonna put tuff country 4" ez rides up front and shackle flip rear. I really liked the setup on my sub, and I hope its even better on a blazer.

Question is, should I install the lift and order shocks after I measure travel? Or should I be impatient and just buy '4" lift shocks' so I can wheel it as soon as the springs are mounted?

Finaly, I've been looking for BIlstein 5100's, but they don't list any for straight axele chevys. Any suggestions?
