Shuppes 4x4 or foothills 4x4 ?

I KNOW KEN BUT HAVE NOT TALKED TO HIM IN A WHILE, I HEARD HE SHUT THE DOORS,DONT KNOW HOW TRUE. SHUPPES AND FOOTHILLS ONE IN THE SAME.ALL I KNOW IS I HAVE BEEN WHEELING FOR A WHILE AND KEN SHUPE IS THE BEST DRIVER I PERSONALLY HAVE SEEN,HE MADE SAM PATTEN AND HIS JEEP PEPE LOOK LIKE ROOKIES AT TELLICO

Ken is an incredible driver. I used to hang out down at his shop years ago. I think he is closed for good from what I heard. The shops separated several years ago and foothills in Greenville kept the name and the travelers rest shop changed it to shoopes offroad cause that's how everyone knew it. If your needing gears set or stuff along those lines theres several of us in asheville that can do it, also lift kits and fab work. WNCCustomjeeps is the best at diff gears I know of, Jody is awesome and has set up just about every axle you can think of

Ken shut down his shop and leased out the bldg. He is doing used cars/parts only now at a new place closer to travelers rest on same hwy. If you are at the old shop, head towards TR and it is on the right side, right as you get in to town.

He can still find you just about whatever you want.

Durham opened a shop in TR and is building rigs. He can't compete anymore after last concussion. I'd recommend Durham anyday.

Foothills

Buddy built me a rockcrusher 60 frontend and installed in a 98 TJ about 2.5 years ago. The axle was great but the top links pretty much destroyed my oil pan. After paying about $6000 you would think that would not happen. I just sold the jeep after that cause it just pissed me off. But the axle was great.
